Lyophilisation, also known as freeze-drying, is a process used
for preserving biological material by removing the water from the
sample, which involves first freezing the sample and then drying it,
under a vacuum, at very low temperatures. Lyophilisation halts degradation and keeps nutrients intact. Of the various methods of dehydration, freeze drying is especially suited for substances that are heat sensitive.
Each vegetarian capsule contains 167mg of lyophilised Royal Jelly - the
equivalent of 500mg of Fresh Royal Jelly, with the water content
removed, in an easy-to-swallow capsule.
