Green Lipped Mussels grow in the clean coastal waters around New Zealand and feed on the nutrient-rich phytoplankton and minerals in the ocean.

Fisheries New Zealand (as part of the Ministry for Primary Industries) manages the sustainable harvest of mussels from New Zealand’s waters and provides guidance on water quality monitoring for aquaculture. This ensures that our ingredients are of premium quality. Green Lipped Mussel is a naturally rich source of glycosaminoglycans and amino acids. Glycosaminoglycans are a family of compounds of which Glucosamine is most well known, Hyaluronic Acid is also a very popular member of this group. 

Supports the health of your cartilage and bones

Each capsule contains 500mg of green−lipped mussel powder and 40mg vitamin C, the added Vitamin C helps the formation of collagen in the body, which in turns contributes to the normal functioning of your cartilage and bones.
