11th December 2013 - "I was advised to use them along with Glucosamine tablets for Arthritis, very pleased with the result, can actually walk when I get out of bed in the morning."

Scientific studies

The NHS have written a good article and critical review on Rosehip studies which is one of the best conclusions on the supplement available at present. The scientific study found:

"The results of the present meta-analysis indicate that rosehip powder does reduce pain"

After critical review the NHS opinion to the study was that there is "good evidence that rosehip reduces pain associated with osteoarthritis. The three randomised controlled trials that provide evidence have only short-term follow-ups and larger trials with a longer follow up would provide a more definitive to this question. As the publication is based on a high quality method of combining the results of separate studies, it is the best evidence to-date on the effects of rosehip for patients with osteoarthritis.
