Turmeric contains compounds called ‘curcuminoids’ - the most important of these being Curcumin.

Just Vitamins Protek uses a high-potency Turmeric extract, which is standardised to provide a high level of Curcumin (at 95%) giving 475mg of Curcumin in each and every caplet.

UPDATE March 2011: Unfortunately, due to huge increases in the cost of good quality Turmeric extract (as a result of poor harvests) we have had to increase the price of our Protek Turmeric supplement. We will monitor the situation closely and reduce the price when we are able to. There is lower-quality turmeric available, but it's not something that we are comfortable supplying...
