What is Evening Primrose Oil (EPO)?

Evening Primrose's special property is the oil in its seeds which contains Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA). It plays an essential role in the body helping to regulate many functions.

There are two methods of extracting the oil from the Evening Primrose seeds. The first is chemical extraction by using solvents and the second is mechanically by cold pressing the seeds - this is a method similar to the extraction of extra virgin olive oil.  Our cold pressed evening primrose oil capsules are not subjected to chemical solvent extraction.
