What is 5-HTP?

5-HTP is short for L-5 hydroxytryptophan, is an amino acid found naturally in the body. 

5-HTP is involved in the production of the chemical messenger serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter involved in many physiological processes including mood regulation, sleep, and appetite.

5-HTP is derived from West African Griffonia simplicifolia tree, the only natural source available, using a specially developed process that retains as much of the active ingredient as possible.

Great supplements, in eco conscious packaging. Fast delivery.. The only downside: Just Vitamins no longer deliver to Ireland, so I received my order when visiting family in the UK.
Service rating: Delivery was fast, the packaging is really nice (I like the fact its like coffee refill packs rather then the plastic tubs) The product itself is hard to say, mainly because its like taking a multi vitamin, you really can't tell that you are now getting what your body needs. Can say it hasn't hurt me at all, and I have been in a better way but thats a combination of things, eating healthy, exercising, taking extra things that my diet is lacking. However I can say I will be ordering again because I feel the 2 have helped my mood and sleeping (I have major sleeping issues) Hope this helps who ever is reading this.
